Order, Shipping, and Returns
We want you to be happy with your Project Hive product purchases. In the event you feel that a product you purchased doesn't perform the way you want or expect, please let us know. Items in new, unused and undamaged condition with original packaging purchased from projecthivepetcompany.com can be returned for a refund or exchange up to 30 days from the purchase date. Items purchased from other retailers, online or brick and mortar, will need to be returned to their original place of purchase. Contact us here and include your order number in the e-mail.
Most shipments will arrive within 7-10 business days from when your order is placed.
We are happy to offer free shipping on all orders over $40 within the contiguous 48 states. For orders less than $40, we share the cost of shipping with our customers and charge a flat fee of $6.
Yes, we ship to PO Boxes, but do not ship to APO/FPO addresses at this time.
We ship in all Canadian provinces besides Quebec. We are hoping to expand to more countries in the future!
If you purchased your toy from a retailer, the packaging is paper that can be recycled with any other kind of paper. Our treat packaging is not yet recyclable, but we are working on that! Our shipping boxes can be recycled where any cardboard is accepted.
You will receive a shipment confirmation email containing your tracking number(s) once your order has shipped. You can track your shipment using your tracking number(s) on the carrier’s website.
Reach out to us here with your name, order number, and what happened to your product and we’ll make it right!

Our toys and treats are manufactured in the USA!
Our toys are made of thermal plastic rubber, US-sourced. The material is third-party tested to be BPA-free, latex-free, Phthalates free, and FDA compliant. The toys are safe and non-toxic.
Yes!
While our toys are durable, nothing is indestructible. If your toy has reached the end of its useful life, the toy can be recycled as #7 rigid plastic. Not all recyclers utilize #7 plastics, so please check with your municipality before placing in the recycling bin.
Another option is to help us be part of the circular economy. If your toy has reached the end of its useful life, it can be re-ground into a new Project Hive Pet Company toy! Please run it through the dishwasher and send it back to us in a box or envelope at:

The toys can be washed with soap and water, and they are top-rack dishwasher-safe.
We ensure that our treats are manufacture in SQF approved facilities. The Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program is a rigorous and credible food safety and quality program that is recognized by retailers, brand owners, and food service providers world-wide.
Our Hive Chew Sticks for Small Dogs fit into the cavities of the Hive Chew Toys for Small Dogs as well as the Hive Fetch Sticks. Our Hive Chew Sticks for Large Dogs fit into the cavity of the Hive Chew Toy for Large Dogs.
For Hive Chews and Hive Sticks, offer your pet one treat per day. Do not feed to dogs smaller than 5 pounds or to puppies. For training treats, follow this chart:
